Mercury is Slowing Down

Hello Beautiful Souls!

Today is full of a slow down of our communication. Watch out of confusion or minor mistakes when we rush through the process. Make extra time today for big projects or anything that holds importance. 

When a planet is about to go direct (from our perspective on Earth), the planet isn’t actually spinning backwards. It’s just Earth’s point of view. When this happens, we can experience frustrations with technology as Mercury rules things like day to travel, communication, and commonly known technology.

The reason, in my opinion, for why the one theme of astrology that is commonly known is Mercury retrograde is, because in most of our society’s especially the US, we need to produce, go faster, and most often use technology to accomplish that. I personally feel that Mercury retrogrades can be seen as a gift because we all deserve more time to process, take a break, etc. Mercury retrograde rules those themes of redoing, rethinking, and reworking.

As the planet Mercury slows down to station direct, let’s take this last day to get organized around the Capricorn themes in our daily lives.

These can be our self mastery, our boundaries, and our work ethic. Capricorn wants to understand what the details are now to be able to move forward. We have a beautiful time period after our New Moon in Aquarius on the 21st where all planets will be direct. So let’s get organized so that we are all prepared to move forward with our projects, lives, and feeding our souls with grace and joy!
